Hello, Friends and Supporters of the CLL Society.
CLL/SLL patients in the US can advance research NOW with just a few clicks! The CLL Society is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) on the LLS National Patient Registry project (LLS-NPR). We are excited to have this unique opportunity to be at the forefront among blood cancer disease organizations in the United States. To learn more, click these links to read our press release and to watch a 2-minute video that explains the project further. Stan Did It! Stan Kurtz and his team, with help from so many of you, did it. He swam the Catalina Channel and raised his goal of over $25.000 for the CLL Society! Thanks to all who gave, but it’s not too late to share in the joy. Consider a tax-deductible (in the USA) gift of $22, one dollar for each mile he swam in over 12 hours in the Pacific Ocean. Or more. It was an exhilarating and exhausting journey for Patty and me just being on the boat. SEE: https://www.gofundme.com/swimcatalinaforleukemia. The swim was on the local TV news. This will help us to do so much more for others dealing with CLL. This research points to another strong way to improve CLL care. Another is our Expert Access program. You can read the summary and view the interview here.
