Dear Friends and Supporters of the CLL Society,
The 1st 2020 post ASH Patient Educational Forum at City Of Hope on Jan. 11
We are excited to be returning to City of Hope on the morning of January 11 for our 5th Annual Post ASH Patient and Caregiver Educational Forum featuring the latest news from ASH presented by, among others, CLL superstars, Drs. Rosen and Danilov. View more information and register here for this free CLL-specific educational forum.
Thank you!
To our 2019 donors and volunteers: A big “Thank You” for your extraordinary kindness and generosity in 2019. Thanks to you, CLL patients and their caregivers will continue to find critical support, credible cutting-edge treatment information and a whole host of services in 2020. We are diminishing the possibility that any CLL patient will have to go it alone. Stay strong. We are all in this together! Donate to CLL Society
New this week!
It’s not just our CLL that determines how well we do. It is also what other illness we have. At EHA 2019, Dr. Danilovdiscusses his findings related to our co-morbidities.
The phase III Alliance A041202 collaborative multi-centered trial demonstrated once and for all the superiority of ibrutinib versus Bendamustine/Rituximab (BR) when used frontline in older CLL patients. Dr. Brander from Duke fills in more details at iwCLL 2019 in Scotland.
Dr. Koffman updates his journey with good news on his scans and blood test, his plans and the loss of a famous friend.
