Due to the increase in the spread of Covid19 in Northern Italy in the last month is there an increase of infection as I have CLL.
CLL patients are at higher risk for serious complications from COVID-19 though it is not clear that we are at higher risk for actually getting the infection.
At the CLL Society we have canceled all our March meetings and we are constantly monitoring the situation. Personally, I would not go to Northern Italy, but the situation might be quite different in 2 months from now. I am avoiding all unnecessary and canceled two trips this month.
The precautions recommended by the CDC and WHO should be followed.
