Are there recommended ways to get basics of protection and living for at risk patients like those of us in the CLL Society (and of course, all elderly, homeless, indigent, working poor as in healthcare, but that’s separate)? That is specifically: masks, which are mandated but seem unavailable publicly or easily; gear like disinfectants, toilet paper beyond hunting and pecking for it. It would seem governments would organize a process.
Unlike the UK, the specialized services for vulnerable populations in the USA tend to be local and sometimes community and charity based rather than coming from the government.
Other than checking local sources, I am sorry to say that we have no special knowledge to help.
