Your COVID-19 questions and concerns are of huge importance to us, and your opportunity to ask them of our expert panelists is just around the corner!
Our CLL community is well-schooled in hand washing, social distancing, and other common sense measures to reduce the risk of contracting infectious diseases.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic is a unique infectious threat that appeared on the scene only a few months ago and definitive strategies for avoiding this particular infection are still being formulated. Sheltering in place made perfect sense to us. Now that the lockdown is unwinding, many of you are asking for guidance as to how we can safely navigate re-entry.
Mark June 18th on your calendar. Register now and ask your questions!

ASH 2019 Conference Coverage
The treatment for CLL greatly improved with our understanding of the importance of blocking the signaling of the cancer cells through the BTK pathway. Ibrutinib and acalabrutinib are examples of drugs that have this mechanism of action and both have successfully controlled CLL for many patients.
However, the science keeps moving forward and in Dr. Koffman’s ASH 2019 interview with Dr. Adrian Wiestner, we learn that a new drug currently in clinical trial, NRX, not only blocks, but entirely degrades and eliminates BTK.
