Hi. I am 65 have CLL. It sounds like the Covid vaccine will be a live one. With CLL, we can’t have live vaccines. Do you think they will produce a vaccine that isn’t live, or will CLL patients not be able to be vaccinated? Thanks do much!

Most but not all of the vaccines in development are not live vaccines include the Moderna vaccine that is now entering PHASE 3 trials. Its safety and efficacy in CLL patients is not proven, but it is not contra-indicated at this time, though the trial may not let in patients with cancer
