Making Modern Treatment Choices in CLL
Oncology Nurse Insights on the Patient Journey and the New Era of Care
Thursday, April 22 at 9 AM ET, 8 AM CT, 7:00 AM MT, and 6 AM PT
Join CLL Society and PeerView Institute in a jointly provided web broadcast in association with the 47th Annual ONS Congress! This NCPD/ILNA-certified program will use PeerView’s “Nursing Clinical Consults” format to illustrate the practical application of the latest evidence on targeted therapeutics to nursing care in CLL, including important toxicity management, dosing, and drug interaction information. Our experts will also present a rich collection of cases and clinical examples from nursing practice designed to explore how nurses can be the cornerstone of the management team during an era when CLL care is being transformed by novel approaches based on BTK and BCL-2 inhibitors. Bruce Wright will provide a patient video testimonial on the nurse–patient relationship and the key role of nurses as patient educators during the therapeutic journey.
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of oncology nurses and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of CLL. CLL patients and caregivers are welcome to register and attend this event as well.
