Making Modern Treatment Choices in CLL

In science and medicine, information is constantly changing and may become out-of-date as new data emerge. All articles and interviews are informational only, should never be considered medical advice, and should never be acted on without review with your health care team.

Making Modern Treatment Choices in CLL
Oncology Nurse Insights on the Patient Journey and the New Era of Care

Recorded on April 22, 2021

CLL Society and PeerView Institute jointly provided a web broadcast in association with the 47th Annual ONS Congress. This NCPD/ILNA-certified program used PeerView’s “Nursing Clinical Consults” format to illustrate the practical application of the latest evidence on targeted therapeutics to nursing care in CLL, including important toxicity management, dosing, and drug interaction information. Our experts presented a rich collection of cases and clinical examples from nursing practice designed to explore how nurses can be the cornerstone of the management team during an era when CLL care is being transformed by novel approaches based on BTK and BCL-2 inhibitors. Bruce Wright provided a patient video testimonial on the nurse–patient relationship and the key role of nurses as patient educators during the therapeutic journey.

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of oncology nurses and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of CLL. CLL patients and caregivers are welcome to view the event as well.

Please note, you will need to register and answer a short poll before accessing the on demand video.
