See below for all of this, plus free resources from Bag It, and more. Never a dull moment at the CLL Society!
Upcoming CLL Society Events
CLL Society Webinar: Giving Care to the Caregiver on Monday, November 1st at 10 AM PT and 1:00 PM ET. Join CLL Society and Dr. Allison J. Applebaum to learn about the amount of time that caregivers dedicate to this role, the different types of stress and burdens experienced by caregivers, and how to address these issues.
In partnership with Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI), CLL Society invites you to attend our virtual 5th Annual Patient & Caregiver Ed Forum on Tuesday, November 9th at 5 PM MT focused on chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Featured speakers Drs. Deborah Stephens, Harsh Shah, Boyu Hu, and Lindsey Fitzgerald will present the basics of CLL diagnosis, early management, clinical trials, treatment options, COVID-19 considerations for CLL patients, and strategies to become an effective self-advocate. CLL patient Doreen Zetterlund will present The Patient Experience: Becoming Your Own Project Manager.

Patient Videos – Pay it Forward
CLL Society is asking for patients to share their CLL experiences and advice in a short, one to two minute video, highlighting informed decision making and the value of gathering information in advance. Experienced CLL patients can bring comfort and inspire confidence by sharing their advice with those at the outset of their CLL journey. Find out more here.
Free Resource for CLL Patients
CLL Society and Bag It believe that CLL patients and caregivers should be empowered with information and resources as they navigate a cancer diagnosis. We invite you to order your free bag and binder today to help keep you organized. There is a CLL-specific information section and many additional resources. Learn more and order yours here.
PeerView and CLL Society present Interprofessional Perspectives on Safety Management with Targeted Therapy for B-Cell Malignancies. The session is geared towards healthcare providers, but open to patients to learn about treatment for B-cell cancers and see how a healthcare team works together to manage safety concerns associated with targeted therapies.
City of Hope and CLL Society are excited to announce our second Global Oncology Forum: Precision Medicine on November 8th at 4-5 pm PST. We will share the official event announcement as soon as it is available.
