ASH 2021: Antibody and T-Cell Responses to Covid-19 mRNA Vaccines in Patients with B-Cell Lymphomas and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)
Compared to the earlier study, this one used a larger and broader cohort of patients. They included patients with diagnoses of CLL, and related B-cell lymphomas, namely marginal zone lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, mantle cell lymphoma, and Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia.

Many Patients with Weak Immune Systems Don’t Realize Their COVID-19 Medicine Isn’t as Effective as It Used to Be
CNN interviewed CLL Society’s Dr. Brian Koffman and Robyn Brumble, RN, among others, to gain perspective on the significance of the diminishing susceptibility of the emerging SARS-CoV-2 Variants of Concern (VOC) to Evusheld, the only Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) for the immunocompromised; including all those with chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL).
