Four Survey Opportunities Available Below!
Opportunity for CLL Patients and Caregivers Experiencing CLL and SID
Bryter is an independent market research agency based in London and New York researching current and future medicines. Bryter is currently conducting research on behalf of a pharmaceutical company, who would like to understand the patient journey of CLL patients who experience secondary immune deficiency (SID).
Secondary Immune Deficiency is when an external factor (not genetic), such as blood cancer, causes your immune system to stop functioning properly. This results in the immune system being less able to fight off infections and diseases. Doctors may not have formally diagnosed you with SID, but may have stated that you have immune deficiency or a weakened immune system. They may say you have low immunoglobulins, or more specifically, low IgG, requiring treatment.
The aim of the research is to understand the patient experience of SID, starting from the road to diagnosis to getting treatment, ongoing management and what it’s like to live with SID. We really want to understand how patients feel along the way about their SID, and how this changes. A key objective is to understand the challenges and unmet needs that patients face at each stage, to identify areas of improvement.
The research involves a short 20 minute pre-task questionnaire, followed by a 60 minute telephone or Zoom (video) interview. As a thank you for taking part, we will provide all those who complete the process with an honorarium of $175.
If you are interested in taking part in the study, please contact Rebecca at firstname.lastname@example.org and reference CLL Society/Bryter. Please provide your best contact number and time for a quick 5 minute chat. Rebecca will explain a little bit more about the study and ask a few quick screening questions to see if you qualify for the study. If you are accepted, please let CLL Society know by emailing Support@cllsociety.org with the subject line: Accepted – Bryter Survey.
We are also interested in speaking to those who are caregivers of patients with CLL who have SID. If you are a caregiver who would be interested in taking part, please also get in contact with Rebecca!
Thank you so much for reading and we hope to speak to you soon.
Opportunity for CLL Patients and Caregivers Who Have Experience with Treatment
The organization Find a Cure Panel (FACP) specializes in patient research for rare and serious diseases and they have some an upcoming patient and caregiver research for CLL. To qualify you or your loved one must have received treatment for CLL. If you/your loved one are watch and wait, you will NOT qualify.
The participation will include one 30-minute confidential and anonymous online survey. You will receive a customized online link to answer the posted questions. FACP will compensate participants $100 for completing the survey.
If you’re interested in participating, please contact email@example.com and reference FACP/CLLS. If you are accepted, please let CLL Society know by emailing Support@cllsociety.org with the subject line: Accepted – FACP Survey.
Opportunity for CLL Patients
A pharmaceutical company is currently looking to recruit patients diagnosed with CLL who are willing to participate in a virtual interview. The goal of this research is to gain a better understanding of the symptoms and daily-life impacts for patients living with CLL. The interview will take place in two parts. In the first part, we will ask the patient open-ended questions to help us understand what it is like to live with CLL. In the second part, we will ask the patient to complete a questionnaire. The goal of this portion is to ensure that our questionnaires are relevant. After this, the patient will have the opportunity to share any additional information if they would like. The total interview will take approximately 60-90 minutes in total, and the patient will receive compensation of $188.
If you’re interested in participating, please email Teya Lovell at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: I’m Interested – CLL Society. If you are accepted, please let CLL Society know by emailing Support@cllsociety.org with the subject line: Accepted – Modus Outcomes Interview.
Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Patient Volunteers Needed for Paid Research
There is a current opportunity in the United States in urgent need of 10 CLL patients to participate in a research study. The study goal is to better learn about the CLL patient journey, understanding where the unmet needs currently lay. There is a treatment in development that is drafting educational material to help future patients and they would like other CLL patients to review and provide suggestions. Participation would involve a 45-minute web-based interview and participants will compensated $125.
Please help share your voice and speak to help the CLL community.
