The CLL Society recognizes that not all patient needs can be addressed online so we felt it was critical to develop face-to-face Patient Support Groups focused specifically on chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) led by volunteers in regions/cities where there is interest. This initiative will be referred to as The CLL Society Support & Education Network (CLLSSEN). Whether patients are newly-diagnosed or have lived with CLL for years, the CLLSSEN will provide up-to-date information and support for all who attend meetings. The groups will provide mutual support, learning opportunities, patient-friendly, physician-reviewed monthly updates, as well as offering the opportunity to discuss anxieties and concerns with others.

Locations Where New Groups May be Forming
There has been interest in forming new CLL-specific support groups in a number of cities. When interest is expressed, we create a survey to gather contact information and preferences regarding days/times/frequency of meetings. Once we have enough people interested, an identified facilitator and a location to meet, we will provide training for the facilitator(s) and ongoing mentoring to get the group started and keep it going. Click on your city to complete the interest survey.
