More good news.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is offering financial help with travel and lodging expenses up to $2,500 for those who qualify by having an income < 500% of the U.S. federal poverty guidelines .
It pays for expenses from the evaluation phase through the end of the conditioning therapy phase and covers those getting CAR-T cells are part of a clinical trial as would be the case for those of us with CLL.
