This content was current as of the date it was released. In science and medicine, information is constantly changing and may become out-of-date as new data emerge.
Dr. Rick Furman, CLL expert and director of the CLL Research Center at Weill Cornell Medicine, NYC, NY, gave up part of his weekend in April 2021 to present some slides and answer questions on COVID-19 and the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine as they specifically pertain to CLL patients.
Data are changing fast, but as of this week, this is the latest understanding from a CLL expert on CLL and COVID.
Please enjoy this video from the April meeting of the CLL Society NYC Support Group with Dr. Furman. He has generously included his slide deck.
Thanks to the NYC CLL Society Support Group for arranging this and agreeing to have it recorded for everyone’s benefit.
Stay strong. We are all in this together.
