Therapeutic options that include Time Off Treatment, also referred to as Time Off Therapy, Fixed Duration Therapy, or Limited Duration Therapy, or Time-Limited Therapy, have multiple advantages for patients, but may not be the best fit for everyone. Listen to Dr. Catherine Coombs and Dr. Brian Koffman discuss what it means to take “time off treatment.” Watch the video, then test your knowledge with a brief quiz!

Join the CLL Society and Nurse Practitioner Laura Zitella, who will discuss the timing of CLL treatment and the various factors to consider when navigating your disease journey.
At the annual meeting of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) 2021, our own Dr. Brian Koffman, interviewed Dr. Stephan Stilgenbauer, Professor of Medicine at the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Ulm University in Germany. They discussed the latest results from the GAIA (CLL13) trial, which compared rates of measurable residual disease (MRD) with the different treatments.
Our own Dr. Koffman is quoted in his local paper, the LA Times, in this article: This Treatment Can Protect Vulnerable People From COVID. But Many Don’t Know About It.
The team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is testing whether the combination of duvelisib (Copiktra™) and venetoclax (Venclexta®) will lead to deep remissions that would allow for oral only therapy of one year duration. Learn more about this ongoing Phase I/II clinical trial.
Join CLL Society and Dr. Deborah Stephens to learn how a comprehensive approach to well-being can complement your CLL care.
