Management Options
COVID-19 therapy is changing fast, and for the better. But it is important to be up to date on the latest best practices. Some of the best management options are especially critical for those with CLL / SLL, as they are immunocompromised and more likely to progress and suffer more severe disease. Many treatments are time sensitive and will only work when given early after diagnosis. It’s best to know in advance what should be done and when. While focusing on the necessary actions to manage and mitigate an infection, we don’t neglect to offer help with the stress and strain on our emotional health brought on by isolation, and we recognize of how vulnerable the CLL / SLL community is to the stress imposed by the pandemic.
