Ask the Doctor Question:

Can you discuss the compassionate use paperwork and logistics for getting the Regeneron Regen-COV infusions? Would it be possible to start the process sooner? Who should I speak with about receiving Regen-COV?

Answer: CLL Society is aware of several people who have been approved for and received REGEN-COV under their compassionate use program. It only takes a couple of weeks to receive authorization. The biggest obstacle might be the time for which it takes to have your physician fill out all of the paperwork. You can find more information about how to request it here:

Also, Regeneron is currently recruiting for a trial which offers a 3 out of 4 chance for its participants to receive the active drug. This trial looks very important and promising for the immunocompromised community. Here is more information on that particular trial: A Study to Evaluate Efficacy and Safety of Casirivimab+Imdevimab (Monoclonal Antibodies) for Prevention of COVID-19 in Immunocompromised Adolescents and Adults

The folks at Regeneron genuinely want to help. But your healthcare provider will need to fill out the paperwork to get the process going. Please let us know if we can be of more help in the meantime.
