Despite mild persistent night sweats and disturbed sleep, I am enjoying and learning much at iwCLL (international workshop on CLL) in Boston.
Now there is a new trial (SUPERNOVA) of an updated mix of monoclonal antibodies that hopes to provide durable protection against present and future variants of concerns.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA)‘s draft guidance on clinical outcome assessments (COA) gave CLL Society an opportunity to share with the Agency why CLL can be a difficult area for research & development (R&D), and that, as a chronic blood cancer, treatment value from a patient’s perspective might turn more towards durability of response.
Very complex, promising research is currently underway to use humanized bispecific single-domain antibodies (bsVHH). But, unfortunately, harnessing the immune system can get very complicated. This article introduces an experimental antibody with a novel approach to fighting CLL / SLL.
What follows is our patient-friendly summary of this research.: BMF-219, an irreversible menin inhibitor that demonstrated strong preclinical activity against chronic lymphocytic leukemia or CLL patients’ specimens, including those with high-risk markers.
