CLL Society Hosts Webinar on Why Policy Matters for CLL Patients

In science and medicine, information is constantly changing and may become out-of-date as new data emerge. All articles and interviews are informational only, should never be considered medical advice, and should never be acted on without review with your health care team.

CLL Society began engaging in policy work on behalf of our patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, starting with improving the definition of “immunocompromised.” We outlined three pillars, or areas of focus, for our policy work which are: supporting (1) “innovation” in new treatment options, ensuring patients will have (2) “access” to those new treatments, and continuing our work on improving the (3) “needs of the immunocompromised.”

More information about CLL Society’s policy work and why it matters can be learned by watching our webinar, Why Policy Matters – Understanding How Your CLL / SLL Journey is Affected.
