Description
Join CLL Society for an engaging and practical webinar designed to help people living with CLL take an active role in their care. In this session, Dr. John Burke and CLL patient advocate Christina Fisher will discuss the importance of shared decision-making, an approach in which patients, clinicians, and often care partners work together to choose treatments that reflect both the best medical evidence and what matters most to the individual.
CLL has many effective treatment options, and care decisions often unfold over years, including periods of active monitoring before and after treatment. Understanding how to prepare for doctor visits, ask the right questions, and clarify personal goals can make a meaningful difference. Many people now use AI to educate themselves about CLL and treatment options, but knowing how to use these tools wisely is essential. Through real-world examples and actionable tips, this webinar will empower you to communicate more confidently with your healthcare team, make informed choices, and ensure your care plan aligns with your values, preferences, and long-term goals.
The webinar will be geared towards beginners.
