A Patient’s Guide to CLL / SLL Testing and Imaging

Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 12:30 – 2:00 PM PT / 1:30 – 3:00 PM MT / 2:30 – 4:00 PM CT / 3:30 – 5:00 PM ET

 Duration 90 minutes

Description

Understanding tests and imaging can feel overwhelming for many chronic lymphocytic leukemia and small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL / SLL) patients and care partners, yet these tools play a critical role in diagnosis, treatment decisions, and monitoring disease over time. This webinar will provide a practical overview of the most common tests used in CLL / SLL care and help participants better understand what the results may mean.

Discussion will include interpreting blood work and lab results, MRD (measurable residual disease) testing, mutation and genetic testing, imaging scans such as CT, MRI, and PET scans, bone marrow biopsies, and why certain tests are important before starting treatment. Designed for patients and care partners, this program aims to empower attendees with knowledge to help them engage more confidently in conversations with their healthcare team.
